Paul ParkerPaul Parker is Executive Vice President of the Center for Resource Management, a non-profit organization which facilitates environmental problem solving and cooperative partnerships for corporate, government, and environmental organizations. Since joining the Center and its predecessor, the Institute for Resource Management, in 1983, Paul has been responsible for numerous conferences, industry/environmental agreements, and collaboration initiatives involving, among others, the oil industry, the timber industry, Indian tribes, the solid waste industry, the golf industry, the US Environmental Protection Agency, and the environmental community. Prior to his experience in the non-profit world, Paul worked in the oil industry for Tosco Corp. in environmental and community affairs. Pauls experience also includes working in public policy development as the Deputy State Planning Coordinator for Utahs Governor, Scott Mattheson. Paul holds a Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from Utah State University and Master of Landscape Architecture Degree from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. For the past three years Paul has been appointed a member of the National Petroleum Council by U.S. Secretarys of Energy OLeary and Peña. |
